Overview
Recallly is an AI study app that turns notes, topics, or class material into flashcards, quizzes, and study decks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information you provide
You may paste notes, type a topic, or enter text to generate flashcards. If you create an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, login information, saved deck data, subscription status, and usage information needed to operate the app.
AI processing
Text you submit may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate flashcards, quizzes, or study content. Do not submit private, sensitive, confidential, or copyrighted material you do not have permission to use. Recallly does not intentionally retain submitted text beyond what is needed to generate and operate your study deck.
Accounts and saved decks
If you use Recallly without an account, some data may be stored locally in your browser. If you create an account or use Pro features, saved decks, subscription status, usage limits, and related account data may be stored using our app services so your account can function correctly.
Payments
If you purchase Recallly Pro, payment processing is handled by Stripe. Recallly does not directly store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, and other information needed to process payments, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions.
How we use information
We use information to generate flashcards and quizzes, provide saved decks and account features, manage free and Pro access, process payments and subscriptions, prevent abuse, fraud, and unsafe use, and improve app reliability and user experience.
Cookies and local storage
Recallly may use cookies, localStorage, or similar technologies for login, saved decks, app settings, subscription access, and basic functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
Children's privacy
Recallly is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, use Recallly only with permission from a parent or guardian.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit copyrighted books, articles, exam questions, private material, or sensitive information unless you have the right and permission to use it.
Data deletion
You can remove locally saved decks by clearing your browser or site data. If you have an account and want your account data deleted, contact us through the support email listed on the app or payment page.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Recallly changes. Continued use of Recallly means you accept the latest version.
